Grade 8 field trip information – June 20, Six Flags Great Escape 

Dear Parents and Students;

Information about the field trip can be found below. Please read all of the information carefully and sign and return permission slip to your homeroom teacher.

Field Trip Information

Tuesday, June 20                    

Schedule

• Depart BCMS after homeroom
• Depart Great Escape at 3:30 p.m.                
• Arrive at BCMS at 5 p.m.

Transportation

• Charter Buses from Yankee Trails
• Students are not allowed to be transported to the Great Escape by Parents
• Students may be picked up from the Great Escape by Parents
• No student may be picked up by anyone other than his/her own parent (no exceptions)
• Any students who get picked up should have their parent provide a signed note prior to the time of pickup

Student Expectations

Students are free to move throughout the park. Teachers and an administrator will be throughout the park for assistance.  A nurse will also be in attendance. Students are expected to represent themselves, their families, and our BC Community with a dignity and respect for the entirety of their environment that leaves our hosts welcoming our return. Any student who compromises these expectations will be assigned to an administrator.

Lunch

Lunch is included in the price of admission.  Students who have dietary restrictions / allergies that are documented with the health office should confirm with their team leader and the nurse 

Payment
Please make checks payable to “BCMS” and return with the permission slip no later than Thursday, April 13. In the subject area, please write your child’s name and team.

Season Passes and Cost

• Total Cost for the trip:                       $28.00                   
• Season Pass holders*:                        $12.00

*you must have your pass with you

Students will not need to bring additional money.
