Stage Creations presents Hydrangea Albright: Comedy or Tragedy? on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6, 2017. Shows begin at 7 p.m. in Bethlehem Central Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.

Directed by Diane Suker-Henderson and written by Jeff Fluharty, this dramatic play portrays the life of the Albright family told through the eyes of two opposing playwrights (one comedic and one tragic). The tragic playwright portrays the life and curse of the Albright family through the eyes of a “glass half empty” and the comedic playwright’s perspective is of a “glass half full”. During this play with in a play, we encounter many unique characters, plot twists and constant turmoil that effects the family. In the end, through all of her trials and the curse on her family, Hydrangea decides that there is more than one way to look at life.
