An important Back-to-School message from Superintendent Jody Monroe
Dear BC family,
Tomorrow, Thursday, September 9 is the first day of school for all Bethlehem students in grades K-12. We are so excited to welcome our returning students and new families to the 2021-22 school year!
We are taking all precautions as a school district to ensure a safe learning environment at BC. All students in all grades will be resuming daily in-person instruction for the first time since March of 2020. This means there will be more cars on the road, more students on the sidewalks, and many logistics that will require some trial and error. Your patience is appreciated as the school year gets underway!
Please remember that New York state requires face masks to be worn at all times while indoors at school. This is one of the most important elements of our layered COVID-19 mitigation plan for 2021-22. Mask rules will be enforced in all locations and regular mask breaks for students will also be practiced and encouraged.

Your support of the Bethlehem Central Schools is what makes our district special. We look forward to working together to make this year a safe, healthy and successful one for students, staff and families.
Sincerely,
Jody Monroe
Superintendent
