Over Memorial Day weekend the BCMS Odyssey of the Mind team consisting of students Faith Adamczyk, Bridget Connolly, Megan Fallon, Morgan Leonard, Aidan McNay, Taylor Roddy, and Gillian Roeder, traveled to Iowa State University to compete in the World Finals Odyssey of the Mind competition.

After taking first place in their division for “Something Fishy” at the New York State competition, these students received a bid to represent New York and compete amongst droves of other teams from around the country and even the world. They even spent some time with their buddy team, who was from Singapore!
Out of the 58 teams that competed in their problem and in their division (Problem 2, Division 2) the team from BCMS placed 8th. What a way to top a great year of Odyssey of the Mind competitions — congrats students!
